Elvis Presley’s Favorite Pound Cake – very moist and easy to make — It is a delicious pound cake and can be the base for many desserts. Sometimes I add a couple of teaspoons of almond extract.

Elvis Presley Cake -White cake mix -8oz can crushed pineapple -1c sugar -8oz cream cheese -1/2c butter, softened -3c powdered sugar -1t vanilla -2-3c crushed pecans -Bake a white cake, cool, poke holes in it. Boil crushed pineapple w juice and 1c sugar, pour over cool cake. Mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar. Add vanilla, crushed pecans, mix well and ice cake.
